Privacy

What this site collects, why, and what it does not. Last updated 11 October 2026.

Who this is

This site belongs to Jools Newsome, a sole trader based in London, trading as Jools Newsome Performance. For anything in this policy, including a request to see or delete what is held about you, write to [email protected].

Under UK data protection law Jools Newsome is the data controller for the information described here.

What the enquiry form collects

If you send an enquiry, the form asks for four things: your name, your email address, which location you are interested in, and whatever you choose to write in the message box. It also records which page you sent it from, so it is clear what you were reading.

That is all of it. There is no hidden field, and nothing is asked for that is not on the form in front of you.

Why, and on what basis

To reply to you. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: you asked a question about coaching and the only sensible thing to do with that is answer it. If you go on to become a client, the basis for the information held about you becomes the contract between us.

Your enquiry is not added to a mailing list and you will not be marketed to on the strength of it.

Where it goes

Your enquiry passes through three places on its way to a reply:

  • Cloudflare, which serves this site and handles the form submission in transit.
  • n8n, which routes the message to the right inbox.
  • The business email account, where it is read and answered.

Nobody else receives it. It is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used to build a profile of you.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not lead to coaching are deleted within 12 months. If you become a client, records are kept for as long as we work together and for six years afterwards, which is the period UK tax rules require.

You can ask for yours to be deleted sooner and it will be, unless there is a legal reason to keep it, in which case you will be told what that reason is.

Cookies

Nothing that tracks you runs on this site unless you have said yes to it. There is no advertising pixel and nothing is sold or shared with data brokers.

The one thing that asks permission is Google Analytics, which counts visits so it is possible to see which pages are useful and which are ignored. Nothing is stored on your device until you press Accept. If you press Accept it sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_ followed by a short code, which hold a random number rather than your name or your email, and which expire after two years. If you press No thanks, no cookies are set and nothing that identifies you is sent. Google is still told, anonymously, that a visit happened, with no identifier attached and nothing written to your device. That is what lets a visit be counted without you being tracked.

You can change your mind whenever you like: . Choosing No thanks after having said yes also deletes the cookies that were already set.

Two things are stored in your own browser rather than sent anywhere. If you dismiss the WhatsApp prompt, a value named wa-peek-dismissed is saved so it does not reappear on every page. Your cookie answer is saved as jn1-cookie-choice so you are not asked again on the next page. Neither leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes both.

If advertising is run to this site in future, this section will say so before it starts, not afterwards.

Your rights

You can ask to see what is held about you, have it corrected, have it deleted, or object to it being held at all. Write to [email protected] and you will get an answer within one month.

If you are not satisfied with the response, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk (opens in a new tab) or on 0303 123 1113.

A note on health

Coaching here is not medical treatment and nothing on this site is medical advice. If you have a condition, an injury, or are unsure whether training is appropriate for you, speak to your GP or a qualified clinician first. Where testing is used, it informs the coaching; it is not a diagnosis.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
